"Maybe I'll become a barber." 21 years later, Castro finds himself working at Barba as their official beard grooming specialist, finessing men’s facial hair with pristine precision. The secret to his success is listening intently to what his clients are looking for in order to achieve the look they want. “Once a client knows I’m listening they’re open to my input, and that’s when the magic happens.” His passion for his work is matched only by his superb sense of style. “I pay attention to detail and tend to be meticulous in all my work, be it shaving, cutting, or even simple trims.”

Tyler Young is a prominent New York City hairstylist whose career change from the music industry led him to cosmetology where he has spent the last 5 years honing and perfecting his craft. Tyler, specializing in men's grooming and color, shines brightest when he has scissors in his hand and a client in his chair. In 2003 he trained at Vici Aveda Institute & Beauty in Milwaukee. where he received his advanced training with top experts in color, cutting and styling mentored him.
His solid education by American Crew, Goldwell, Bumble and Bumble and Vidal Sassoon formed his well rounded approach to hairstyling from many different angles, which has pleased many clients and collaborators alike.

As a little girl, Emily spent her time doing exactly what parents tell their kids not to do: play with scissors. From her own hair, to her clothes, to even her pooch, she practiced her passion. The dedication never dwindled and she earned her cosmetology degree in Toronto, Canada in 1999. She sharpened her skills for the next 4 years before moving to the United States in 2003. Like any good stylist, Emily continued evolving, taking classes to enhance her hair texturizing abilities, which she considers her specialty. She’s color-certified through Wella, a program which raises the benchmark of creativity and technical skills for all hair professionals.
