DAVID, STYLIST/COLORIST (He/Him)

David came to New York from southern Brazil, where he owned and ran his own salon, working as a professional hair stylist, colorist, and makeup artist for over a decade. From the beginning, David has been deeply inspired by the styling techniques of Lluís Llongueras and his “Llonguera Waves.” His approach to exploring hair's artistry and seeing hair styling as art motivates and drives David’s work.

Taking advantage of workshops in the Llongueras technique, later continuing training at PIVOT POINT, TONI&GUY Academy, L’Oreal, Schwartzkopf, Wella, and Keune Institute, among others, he ultimately relocated to New York City to continue pursuing his goals.

OMAR, STYLIST (He/Him)

Omar Felix was born in Mexico and raised in Las Vegas, NV. After traveling the world as a successful commercial dancer and actor on stage and screen; he developed a passion for hair, leading him to move to NYC and study at Carsten-Aveda. Shortly after receiving his license, he quickly became a lead stylist/colorist, working for Thierry Mugler, CFDA Fashion Awards, Clarins, and Valentino Beauty, to name a few. After 10 years in the industry, he opened Hair Flow Boutique in SoHo. Now, Omar has joined the team at Barba Grooming Boutique as a colorist/stylist.

JORGE SANCHEZ, STYLIST/COLORIST (He/Him)

Passionate Aveda-trained stylist dedicated to making people look and feel their best. Firmly believing in Joan Crawford's words, "I think that the most important thing a person can have - next to talent, of course - is her hairdresser," I strive to be an understanding professional who listens, educates, and delivers exceptional service. My love for styling stems from its fusion of creativity, business, and social interaction, allowing me to connect with clients on a personal level and provide tailored services that reflect their individuality. With a fearless attitude towards new challenges, I have been cutting, coloring, and styling hair since 2014, always seeking to learn and grow in my craft.

DANNY, BARBER (He/Him)

Danny began his career with makeup in his teen years and continued on to work for MAC and Sephora. He took to New York City to break into the fashion world. Danny worked backstage at New York Fashion Weeks with artists such as Kabuki, Edward Cruz, and the MAC Pro Team. He appeared on seasons of Project Runway and assisted industry veterans like Scott Patric and Roshar. His work has been published in GQ, teen VOGUE, Nylon Magazine, and more.

Endlessly inspired by the world of beauty, in 2021, Danny became a New York licensed Master Barber. He has a keen eye for classic cuts with edge, avant-garde color, and trendy stylized design.

LILY EPSTEIN (they/he)

Lily is a New York suburbs native who discovered a passion for barbering during the pandemic, perfecting their skills by cutting hair for loved ones on their front porch. Their early experimentation with their younger brother's hair foreshadowed their natural talent.

After graduating from the American Barber Institute in Manhattan, Lily adeptly handles all hair textures and lengths, treating each cut as a genuine art form. A people person at heart, they prioritize thorough consultations and strive to create a safe and inclusive space in their Brooklyn home for clients seeking both hair and life solutions.
